The Croal Irwell Valley Voluntary Ranger Service

The Croal Irwell Valley Voluntary Ranger Service works alongside the Ranger Teams of Bolton, Bury and Salford. They get involved in a range of activities including practical conservation work, patrols and assisting at countryside events.

Our Voluntary Rangers are offered basic and advance training to build skills and confidence. No previous experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and some spare time!

Whether you are interested in this line of work, or just want to get out and get involved, being a Voluntary Ranger is a great way to meet people, learn more about the countryside and get some fresh air!
